Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Nouryon. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and continuity of operations at our site in Herkenbosch.

• Conduct first-line maintenance on the process control system and provide guidance to operations.
• Advise, steer, and participate in process alarm management and tuning teams.
• Secure reliability and availability of installations through system maintenance and back-up management.
• Identify opportunities and make suggestions for improvement in reliability or maintainability of (key) process equipment.
• Actively contribute to documenting standardized work packages and risk assessments.

• HBO / BSc level.
• 5+ years' experience in maintenance and/or process operations with proven affinity to process automation/control.
• Fluency in written and spoken Dutch is a must, good English.
• Good understanding of process and process requirements.
• Basic understanding of E&I (MBO+ level).
• Project Experience (Change Management): Preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and implementing changes to an Emerson DeltaV DCS system.
