Regulatory Advisory Expert Credit Transformation Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Advisory Expert Credit Transformation to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our Credit Transformation Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our lending processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear vision for target regulatory compliant and efficient credit lifecycle processes based on client needs, regulatory requirements, and findings.
- Identify gaps between the current state and the desired vision, and advise on suitable solutions for gap closure.
- Understand the background of ECB observations/findings and ensure a common understanding within ABN AMRO.
- Assess solutions based on OSI signals and expert opinions, and define a direction to address observations.
- Define action owners and ensure mitigants/risk acceptances are in place where required.
- Identify root causes of deficiencies in credit risk processes and propose sequencing of solutioning.
- Maintain a high level of combined regulatory and operational knowledge of lending to handle complex compliance issues.
Requirements:
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and change-driven individual with in-depth regulatory expertise.
- Experience with bank policies and regulations in credit risk, with the ability to translate these into requirements.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strongly developed risk mindset and first line of defence principle.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
