Olympia is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in the field of aviation maintenance. As an aircraft sheet metal worker, you will be responsible for performing sheet metal work on aircraft, including repairs and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work on the exterior of aircraft, including replacing damaged sheet metal parts, repairing dents, and performing welding tasks.
- Supervise people and give instructions to ensure tasks are followed.
- Evaluate and estimate modifications, defect rectifications, and other specialized sheet metal repairs.
- Perform basic repairs, blend outs, and reinforcing repairs.
- Install and repair floor beams and frames.
- Repair structural damage on floor beams, fuselage skin, and other aircraft components.
- Remove corrosion, evaluate damage, and restore finishes.
Requirements
- Education and/or experience in metalworking.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- Flexibility to work regular weekends and evenings.
Benefits
- A competitive salary between €2700 and €3500 per month.
- A full-time position (40 hours).
- An opportunity to work with an international organization.
- A chance for a direct contract with the client after 6 months of employment.
- 25 vacation days, vacation pay (8%), and pension accrual.
- Travel expense reimbursement: €0.23 per km up to a maximum of 30 km one way.
