About the Position
The internship will involve working with our secretariat based in the Netherlands. You will assist with research and editorial tasks, including publications on corporate accountability, the OECD Guidelines, and National Contact Points. You will also support the maintenance of our online database of complaints filed by civil society to NCPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with research and editorial tasks, including publications on corporate accountability, the OECD Guidelines, and National Contact Points.
- Support the maintenance of our online database of complaints filed by civil society to NCPs.
- Assist with communications, including preparing webpages and newsletters.
- Assist with the management of our network, including growing our membership and communications with members.
- Assist with organizing events and meetings, and draft meeting reports.
Requirements
- Affinity with the mission of SOMO and OECD Watch.
- Enrolment in a relevant Bachelor or Master's degree.
- Excellent command of English.
- Legal ability to work in the Netherlands.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
We Offer
- Work experience at an international non-profit organization.
- An internship of 24 hours (3 days/week) for 4-6 months.
- Flexible working hours.
- A stipend of €550 based on 40 hours/week.
- Possible additional stipend for travel and other costs.
