Export Control Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Export Control Compliance Manager to join our team in the Benelux region. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international export control laws and regulations, as well as implementing and managing compliance processes tailored to the Benelux region.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and monitor global standards and procedures across the Benelux region.
- Provide consultation on export control matters, serving as the key contact for divisions in the region.
- Manage internal and external audits related to export compliance.
- Monitor and assess changes in national export control laws, adapting company processes accordingly.
- Oversee the review and approval of business models and transactions with a focus on preventing circumvention.
- Education: University degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in export controls and foreign trade, particularly within the Benelux region.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ERP systems and IT proficiency (Office, SAP).
- Personality and Working Style: Assertive, reliable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and manage complex compliance requirements with a results-oriented, analytical approach.
- Languages: Fluency in both Dutch and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
