About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Host at the Designhotel Maastricht. As a Host, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, providing them with exceptional service and ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Offer recommendations and insights on local attractions, restaurants, and experiences to enhance the guest's stay.
• Assist with room reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
• Collaborate with the hotel team to ensure seamless communication and a high level of service.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on hotel services, amenities, and local knowledge.

Requirements

• Fluency in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the local area, including attractions, restaurants, and cultural events.
