Job Title: HSSE Supervisor

As a key member of the Oceanco team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, security, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide guidance on specific high-risk activities, identifying and implementing suitable controls to mitigate risks.
  • Supervise fire and safety guards, organize toolbox meetings, and conduct workplace inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and guidance on QHSSE-related items, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and understanding of applicable legislation, standards, and industry guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to execute the HSSE policy, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Monitor and report on environmental impact, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Secondary Safety Expert (MVK) or equivalent knowledge based on experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a similar technical environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications and a good command of written and spoken English.
