Lead Specialist in External Financial Reporting
As a Lead Specialist in External Financial Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating the annual financial statements of KPMG's diverse clientele, offering insights on how to enhance their quality and compliance. Your responsibilities will include reviewing initial assessments conducted by peers or performing these evaluations independently. The financial statements you will work with adhere to the relevant Dutch GAAP standards.

Your Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of annual financial statements in accordance with applicable regulations. Engage in discussions and share insights with initial reviewers. Collaborate with audit teams to communicate findings and recommendations. Investigate and analyze complex accounting matters. Facilitate knowledge sharing within KPMG. Provide training to team members on Dutch GAAP.
Your Qualifications
A relevant university degree, with RA or international CPA credentials being advantageous. Post-master's qualification in External Reporting. A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in accounting issues. At least 1 year of experience in reviewing complete annual financial statements. In-depth knowledge of Dutch GAAP. Strong analytical and systematic thinking skills; proficiency in English and Dutch is a plus.
