About the RoleWe are currently on the lookout for a Partner Account Manager to join our Benelux Sales team in Rotterdam. As a Partner Account Manager at Progress, you will work closely with our Application Partners, enabling them to be successful, their success is your success.
Key Responsibilities- Own and be accountable for ensuring partner and end user retention and growth within the assigned accounts.
- Ensure multiple connections are established per account from various departments and roles to enable deeper account penetration with Progress OpenEdge.
- Ensure Progress retains a healthy relationship with management-level executives among the assigned set of accounts.
- Maintain long-term relationships by understanding our partners and aligning our product's current & future value to our partners' businesses while driving higher adoption of Progress technology and revenue growth.
- Focus effort in the identification and execution of revenue expansion opportunities within assigned accounts, by distinct upselling and cross-selling.
- Build pipeline, forecast, and commit to delivering the quarterly revenue target
- Meet scorecard metrics that are applicable for the role
- Maintain and update Salesforce.com to accurately track all customer data, business insights, and record of interactions
We're looking for someone with:
- Fluency in both Dutch and English
- Experience in Software Sales and domain knowledge in the IT industry with track record in Partner experience
- Passion about selling software products
- Know-how in solution selling, evaluates the client's customer needs and proposes potential solutions
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- Able to have impactful conversations with both technical and business audiences
- Excellent verbal, telephone and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate and work with internal teams
- Able to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Build and manage a pipeline, and commit to delivering the quarterly revenue target
- A solid working knowledge of SalesForce.com/PC Tools
- The motivation to achieve sales targets/goals & who is comfortable with a quota-based variable compensation
