Covestro, a leading manufacturer of high-quality materials, is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team in the Netherlands.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from €72,022 to €109,819 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.

Job Description

As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing all continuous improvement activities within our Manufacturing department. Your primary goal will be to facilitate the rollout of our continuous improvement program and track its progress. You will drive the identification, prioritization, and execution of all continuous improvement actions and behaviors, ensuring that we achieve our targets in Performance, People, and Value Creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage risks and stakeholders associated with manufacturing deployments.
  • Conduct re-calibrations and health checks with manufacturing management to ensure progress toward our CI goals.
  • Support the Manufacturing Management Team by leading the CI journey, focusing on realizing our targets in Performance, People, and Value Creation.
  • Coach and mentor manufacturing personnel at all levels on CI tools, culture, and methodology.
  • Perform maturity assessments at manufacturing sites.
  • Develop a long-term CI plan for the manufacturing organization and support its implementation, tracking site-wide deployment progress and reporting.
  • Assist in creating, modifying, organizing, and leading key training programs for all levels of manufacturing personnel.
  • Support the identification, creation, validation, and implementation of new Best Practices and Business Processes (BPs).
  • Fulfill various project roles for CI improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt is preferred, along with experience driving a Lean Six Sigma journey.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and group facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills, including people-solving skills.
  • Problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Affinity with working within a production environment.
  • Ability to connect people across multiple levels within the manufacturing organization.
  • Strong result orientation, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and skills in managing change.
  • Good team player personality, positive working attitude, and high service orientation.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
