Role Overview

Destinus Energy is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will provide critical engineering support to our Service and Operations teams for our gas turbine gensets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Service team for technical issues in the field.
  • Liaise with engineering colleagues to obtain specific knowledge to resolve issues.
  • Perform vibration analysis of engine factory tests and field units.
  • Drive the development of our remote condition monitoring technology, including software and hardware improvements.
  • Gather and analyze data from the field and provide recommendations.
  • Provide detailed reports to clients about the machine's status and performance.
  • Support the different engineering teams during the roll-out of new procedures and specifications applicable to the Service and Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering subject (e.g. mechanical, controls, electrical, mechatronics).
  • Some years of relevant work experience is an advantage, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in rotating equipment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in control systems engineering or PLC programming would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Key competencies include customer focus, flexibility, team player, good communication skills, and problem-solving.
