Job Title: Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our team at Global Experience Specialists. As a Planning Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our operations delivery team and maintaining regular contact with suppliers.

About the Role

The Planning Manager will be responsible for assisting with the creation of show overviews, project planning schedules, and maintaining regular communications with suppliers. You will also be required to update show overviews with shell scheme information, request supplier quotes, and answer questions from the Service Centre regarding stand building and other support required from Operations.

Main Duties
  • Check Exhibitor stand diagrams and provide feedback to the service centre as necessary.
  • Assist with creating show overviews and project planning schedules.
  • Maintain regular communications with suppliers, including daily updates in the weeks leading up to the show.
  • Update show overviews with shell scheme information on a weekly or daily basis.
  • Request supplier quotes for services or products requested by exhibitors.
  • Answer questions from the Service Centre regarding stand building, mains, electrics, rigging, furniture, and other support required from Operations.
  • Create hard copy show folders, including work orders, exhibitor diagrams, and schedules of requirements.
  • Create mains electricity location plans for the venue technical departments.
  • Prepare, create, and print stand reports.
  • Attend site meetings as required, which may involve travel to venues throughout Europe.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with native or professional proficiency in English, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will also have experience in a similar role, ideally in the events industry, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
