Electrical Instructor

Carnival Corporation and plc is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Instructor to join our team at CSMART in Almere, Netherlands.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in the cruise industry, delivering training to ship-board technical staff and contributing to the development of new courses and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality training to technical staff on board our ships
• Develop and implement new courses and procedures to enhance technical skills
• Collaborate with Operations Support and other instructors to ensure seamless course delivery
• Monitor and evaluate participant performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
• Stay up-to-date with current practices and technologies in marine engineering

Requirements and Experience:

• Typically, 1st Engineer or equivalent experience is required
• Senior Engineer/Superintendent and Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in Marine Engineering is highly valued
• Cruise ship experience is preferred, but not essential
• Teaching/instructing experience is an asset

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and MS Office365
• Fluent written and verbal English language skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
