About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Business Architect to join our IT Information Systems team at Boskalis, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable solutions for complex infrastructural and marine projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by developing and maintaining the architecture within the Information Systems domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Start Architecture and High-Level Solution Direction: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project start-up and high-level solution direction, aligning with enterprise architecture guidelines and standards.
  • Architecture Quality Reviews: Perform ongoing architecture quality reviews for domain-specific projects/programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Domain-Specific Roadmaps: Develop and maintain domain-specific roadmaps under the supervision of the Enterprise Architect, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Architecture vision.
  • Interface with External Partners: Work closely with external partners to ensure solutions are architected correctly, meeting business needs and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in End-to-End Ecosystems: Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end ecosystems for business applications, integrating with master data systems and integration platforms.
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and knowledge of EA tools for modeling architecture like Archimate and BPMN notation.
  • Professional Experience: Several years of professional IT experience in large-scale business systems environments, with hands-on experience as an architect for at least 3 years in an international contract business environment.
  • Education and Certifications: Higher Professional Education (Bachelor) with a Post-Bachelor IT certificate (preferred).
  • Language Skills: Good command of English (written and spoken).
