We are seeking a highly motivated student to assist with the EPA Master Thesis module, a key component of the Engineering and Policy Analysis (EPA) Master program. As a teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in designing a novel, rigorous, and feasible policy-relevant research study.
Responsibilities:- Develop a dataset of policy-relevant research to serve as a basis for a textbook on the topic.
- Explore the application of machine learning algorithms to identify characteristics of policy-relevant research.
- Assist with the organization of the class and teaching environment in Q2 and Q4.
You will work closely with the teaching team to ensure the success of the module. This opportunity will enable you to enhance your knowledge of public policy and research design, develop your analytical and writing skills, and potentially co-author a chapter in a book on designing policy-relevant research.
We welcome applications from students with prior experience and/or a strong interest in natural language processing and qualitative coding/content analysis.
