Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. As a senior developer, you will create and maintain intuitive and great user interfaces. You will participate in product design and development of new features with product teams. You will ensure high-quality code and optimize applications for performance while prioritizing readability for low-cost maintenance.

You will stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the user experience. You will be capable of analyzing what trends are interesting and which ones are not worth the chase. As a senior level professional, you will be responsible for reviewing other's coding and ensuring the highest standard of quality. You will live by good coding principles and coach others to follow them.

We currently use a tech-stack that includes Vues, Docker, PrimeVue, TypeScript, FastAPI (Python) RESTful backend, Git, and Azure DevOps. Experience with these exact languages/stacks is not required, but you must have professional experience with similar technologies to be effective in our team.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with seniority, knowledge, skills, and experience to guide others in meeting the highest quality coding practices. You should be someone who gets a kick out of driving important changes and leaving a mark.

  • You must be a resident of The Netherlands and have a permanent work permit.
  • You must have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent and at least 10 years of proven work experience with backend Python development.
  • You must have at least 10 years of hands-on experience with backend/full-stack software development projects in all project stages, from development/test to production software delivery within the real-time data industry.
  • You must have exceptional English communication and people skills; you are adept at conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
