Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Controller role at Tiffany & Co. is a key position within the Global Quality Assurance organization, responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's rigorous quality standards and specifications.
As a Quality Controller, you will be based at the Europe Sourcing Office in Paris and will be responsible for final finished good merchandise returns from market in the Netherlands warehouse. You will also be responsible for final finished good merchandise control in the Netherlands warehouse, mainly Home & Accessories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and perform quality inspections and control of finished good merchandise on-site at the Tiffany & Co. EUGDC to ensure products meet Tiffany & Co. standards.
- Manage the metal testing flow within the platform, monitor and analyze results if necessary, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and ensure that products have the right markings during the Inbound Quality control, if not, take corrective action.
- Maintain average or better units per day for inbound quality control inspection and product evaluations, taking into consideration projects and special assignments.
- Record quality control data into JD Edwards Quality Management system and maintain accuracy and completeness of the data entry.
Additionally, you will be responsible for following up on stock repairs, recording corrective actions on pieces in collaboration with Tiffany Service Center, and following up on the delivery of repairs. You will also be responsible for quality control after repairs, stock entry, and assisting product quality reviews.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 2 years of Quality Assurance experience, and proficiency in English, both written and oral. Jewelry knowledge and proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, are also required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a multifunctional and multicultural team are essential.
Preferred qualifications include a Graduate Gemologist and/or Graduate Jeweler certification and work experience in JD Edwards or other enterprise system(s).
