About the Role

Ausnutria B.V. is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Research & Development department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our ambitious growth plans within the global (infant) nutrition arena.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development activities to broaden our scientific understanding of (infant) nutrition and enable the realization of strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Medical Marketing, and Operations, to develop and maintain a network of industry contacts and scientific professionals.
  • Design and conduct in vitro/in vivo studies and/or food intervention clinical studies to enhance knowledge on safety profile and efficacy of dairy and dairy-derived ingredients on gastrointestinal health.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nutritional sciences and translate business needs into R&D project and product portfolio.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in biomedical or nutritional sciences, with a scientific track record in the field of infant nutrition, digestion, metabolism, and/or microbiology.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in an industrial environment (food or pharma).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a good command of the English language (Dutch is an advantage).
  • Able to independently develop a short- and long-term research strategy in your field of expertise.
