About the Role

TenneT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Technical Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance operations on our offshore assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities on offshore platforms
  • Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations, SLAs, and work permits
  • Perform readiness checks to ensure safe execution of work packages
  • Apply lessons learned from execution phases to improve maintenance documentation and execution planning
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, wind park operators, and third parties to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with SHE-rules and legislations for internal and external personnel
  • Prepare and supervise safe maintenance and operations on cable systems and platforms
  • Report progress and resolution of technical issues to shore teams
  • Check quality of supplier work and upload inspection reports in SAP
  • Communicate progress and issues to shore teams and arrange support as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical supervision role, preferably in offshore, chemicals, oil, and gas, or process industries
  • Established operational safety leader with experience leading multi-cultural teams during normal operations and emergency situations
  • Relevant experience with switching operations in high-voltage installations in line with the Offshore Electrical Safety standard
  • Solid technical affinity and experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including testing, configuration, and fault finding
  • Strong admin capabilities, including creating inspection, quality, and progress reports, and checking those of others
  • Ability to extract and process ERP data and experience using SAP, especially SAP 4/HANA
  • Language skills in Dutch and English, verbal and in writing, at Level B2 or higher
  • Skilled and experienced in offshore operations, including ship access, helicopter access, lifting operations, and cargo handling
  • Experienced in working in project environments, self-starter, motivated, highly disciplined, and strong team player
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in occupational safety and environmental protection
  • Basic operational knowledge of offshore regulatory conditions and legislation
