Job Description

This role involves serving as an internal and external authority in sustainable swine/monogastric nutrition. The position entails improving animal nutrition and health while minimizing environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Plan and execute innovation trials in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of university and institute partners globally.

• Promote knowledge leadership in swine/monogastric nutrition and health through scientific presentations and publications.

• Stay up-to-date with R&D activities in the area through literature review and industry/academic networking.

• Perform key account support activities globally.

• Demonstrate creative thinking in developing innovative solutions for the animal feeding industry.

Job Requirements

Professional Profile

• PhD/MSc degree in Animal nutrition or related field with a focus on pig's nutrition, intestinal health, or physiology.

• Demonstrated understanding of the global swine feeding industry, with a focus on improving nutrition & health while reducing emissions and antibiotic use.

• At least 10 years' experience in a product development/R&D role in the Animal Nutrition industry.

• Ability to link customer value to product specification or supporting service.

• Established track record in swine/monogastric nutrition research, evident through scientific publications.

• Working knowledge of statistics and statistical packages, as well as affinity for big data analysis.

• Understanding of least cost formulation for swine/monogastric feeds.

• Demonstrated innovative and creative skills in achieving new goals.

• Motivated to contribute to developing new products for sustainable swine/monogastric production.

• Methodical, systematic, and accurate approach, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including presentation, reports, and scientific writing.
