Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Accounting Advisory Service team in the Netherlands. This role will be part of our team that advises clients on complex accounting challenges related to financial statements, IPOs, Mergers & Acquisitions, GAAP conversions, and new sustainability reporting standards.

  • This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects with top-notch international clients while developing your skills and knowledge in accounting and sustainability.
  • You will be working closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on how to interpret new sustainability requirements and implement future-proof solutions.
Your Challenges

In this role, you will face various challenges, including:

  • Solving complex sustainability reporting and financial accounting projects for our clients.
  • Supporting clients in advising them on how to adapt to new sustainability requirements and develop strategies to stay ahead.
  • Developing yourself as a subject matter expert in accounting and ESG reporting.
What You Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need to bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • A Master's degree in Accounting or Control or a relevant field.
  • (Almost) certified accountant (RA, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant certifications).
  • Experience in solving US GAAP accounting issues.
  • 7-8 years of relevant working experience.
  • Extensive experience with US GAAP, with knowledge of other GAAPs being beneficial.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to work independently and enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
