Naval Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Systems Engineer to join our team at Damen Naval. As a Marine Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced naval vessels.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and assess specifications and technical requirements related to marine systems integration, products, and processes within specified timelines and quality standards.
- Develop and model basic engineering packages for marine systems based on customer requirements, regulations, and Damen Naval engineering standards, addressing feedback from customers and Class.
- Update basic engineering packages and provide information and guidance to relevant internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Technical Bachelor or Master degree combined with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems and marine systems engineering, preferably in naval ships or offshore installations.
- Experience in marine systems engineering on board vessels, familiarity with complex projects, and regulatory bodies.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language both written and verbal.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
