Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team at STAFIDE. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications in collaboration with the development team.
  • Contribute to the modernization and improvement of existing applications, ensuring efficient planning and accurate information display at stations and on trains.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve software solutions as part of a DevOps team, sharing knowledge with team members.
  • Monitor and manage production applications: build, maintain, and love them.
  • Ensure software quality and improvement through the development and maintenance of test automation.
  • Migrate from Java Enterprise Edition technology to microservices on the container platform.
  • Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies in close collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Java software developer in a DevOps team.
  • Experience with Spring Boot (or Quarkus).
  • Basic knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure Storage, and Azure Keyvaults.
  • Preferably experience with Red Hat OpenShift products.
  • Demonstrable experience with operational tasks (monitoring, alerting, CI/CD pipelines, resolving technical issues) in a complex domain.
  • At least 3 years of experience with test automation (preferably Cucumber) and performance testing.
  • A structured mindset for unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews, with a strong focus on quality.
