Are you a driven and ambitious individual looking to gain valuable experience in the field of Master Data Management? Do you have a passion for data science and analytics? We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our Global MDM team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS.

About the Role

As a Global MDM Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the creation of materials and working on improvements within our global operations. You will also have the chance to work autonomously on a project assigned to you, developing your skills and expertise in data management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process material creation & changes in a variety of workflow requests, including Car-stock and Sales-prices
  • Monitor and handle emails in shared mailbox of the team
  • Align with stakeholders on requests and emails
  • Enter, test, and release master data items in the main ERP or other related systems
  • Assist in the documentation of all processes, including contributing to the writing of work instructions (SOPs)
  • Support MDM CoE on process standardization, optimization, and data quality

Requirements
  • Academic Program: You are enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Data Science/Analytics or a related field.
  • Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit.
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship, preferably from the 17th of September to February.
  • Availability: You can join the internship for 4-5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results.
  • Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.
  • You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
