Hotel Okura Amsterdam is a 5-star hotel that combines Eastern and Western influences in a unique way. We are looking for a motivated colleague to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve guests in the restaurant and with in-room dining, ensuring a high level of service and quality.
  • Focus on guest contact and build strong relationships with our guests.
  • Perform daily tasks for Mise en Place and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Take care of minibars and ensure they are fully stocked and ready for guests.
  • Collaborate with Guest Relations to arrange VIP treatments and ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

What We Offer:

  • Contract: 7 months with the possibility of extending.
  • Salary: Group 3.
  • Bonus: 1 month salary when the hotel reaches the budgeted GOP level and you receive a minimum total score in your year-end evaluation.
  • 8% holiday allowance (pro rata).
  • 25 vacation days per year (pro rata).
  • Compensation for National Holidays.
  • Horeca CAO applies.
  • General Pension Scheme of Hospitality and Catering.
  • General Survivors pension.
  • Attractive family and friends rates on overnight stays at Hotel Okura Amsterdam.
  • Staff discount in our restaurants (20%).
  • Contribution to travel expenses from 10 km (one way).
  • Study budget of €1,000.
  • After obtaining the probationary period, you will receive an overnight stay with breakfast as a gift (2 people).

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience (1-2 years) in a similar position and/or business is an advantage.
  • You are flexible in regards to shifts.
  • You live in or within the vicinity of Amsterdam.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language (both spoken and written).
  • As part of the pre-employment screening, we will ask for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and a minimum of two positive references.
