About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Risk Specialist - Credit to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Credit Risk organisation, you will be responsible for the quantitative measurement and assessment of ING's global Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) exposures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of CCR measurement models for various asset classes.
  • Conduct regulatory Exposure at Default (EAD) assessments using both regulatory and internally developed models.
  • Perform Potential Future Exposure (PFE) assessments for internal limit utilisation.
  • Develop and calibrate Monte Carlo and Add-on methodologies for risk measurement.
  • Conduct stress testing and Wrong Way Risk modelling.
  • Model margin flow and own fund requirements for central counterparties.
  • Advise on risk profiles and pre-deal checks for exotic and structured deals.
  • Participate in CCR modelling implementation projects.
  • Validate market scenario evolution models and CCR profile estimations.
Requirements
  • University degree in economics, econometrics, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in market risk and/or counterparty credit risk.
  • Strong understanding of OTC derivatives pricing and risk measurement methodologies.
  • Proven experience with Monte Carlo simulation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of financial markets relevant policies, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with a result-driven and flexible approach.
