Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Quantum 3D Integration Specialist, Your Role Will Include:

Your primary focus will be to chart the course for the organization’s upcoming quantum processor by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that the design and production of qubit chips align with the development of 3D architecture. Your efforts will be crucial in achieving the ambitious goal of delivering quantum processors with over 1000 qubits, thus empowering clients with groundbreaking research and advancing our internal mission for a scalable quantum computer.

Additional responsibilities encompass:

  • Innovating new strategies for increasing the number of qubits in a processor, utilizing novel 3D integration techniques;
  • Working closely with chip designers and fabrication specialists to guarantee seamless integration of qubit chips into the 3D architecture while ensuring high yield;
  • Performing thorough testing and validation to confirm the performance and reliability of 3D integrated quantum systems;
  • Staying informed about the latest developments in quantum computing, 3D integration technologies, and related fields, applying this knowledge to continuously improve methodologies and approaches.
QualificationsEssential Requirements for the Role:
  • A PhD in Superconducting Quantum or a related discipline;
  • Experience or strong interest in microwave engineering;
  • Proficient programming skills in Python;
  • Familiarity with superconducting quantum circuits or cQED;
  • Experience with qubits or quantum amplifiers;
  • Experience in cleanroom environments;
  • Experience in cryogenic measurement techniques.
