Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Join our team at Stryker EMEA Supply Chain Services B.V as a Warehouse Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the EEMEA back-to-back warehouse, ensuring required service levels are met.
  • Act as the main contact for EEMEA operational topics and take responsibility for EEMEA operations when the (Ass.) Supervisor is not present.
  • Ensure staff is properly trained on all aspects of warehouse operations, including compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
  • Support staff development and coaching, creating an environment where team members can excel and drive talent growth.
  • Develop and maintain warehouse SOPs in line with ISO13485, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Implement and continuously improve best practice procedures and processes to meet customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, efficiency, and budget goals.
  • Support the (Ass.) Supervisor in maintaining and improving Quality output, delivery performance, and productivity.
  • Proactively respond to customer comments, analyzing and resolving issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Recommend and design warehouse layouts and equipment to support business growth, new products, and services.
  • Closely work with other departments to pursue cost-effective and efficient integrated supply chain solutions.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment, ensuring all team members can work safely.
Requirements:
  • Minimal 2+ years of logistical education with degree and relevant work experience of up to 5 years.
  • Minimal 1-year experience of coordinating logistics processes and people.
  • English language skills (min. level A2), Dutch or German is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of warehousing, including set-up, capacity planning, and optimization.
  • Experience in working in an ISO13485:2003 or comparable environment, with proven experience in compliance with local regulations.
  • Experience in the Medical Devices industry is a plus.
Competencies & Behaviors:
  • Competent knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (preferably Oracle).
  • Lean / 6 sigma experience is an asset, with a drive for continuous improvements and a proven track record in promoting and ensuring 6S.
  • Ability to build and coach an effective team, setting and communicating clear goals.
  • Lean thinking, team building skills, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Proactive, structured, tidy, and precise, with the ability to see beyond boundaries and remove them.
