Key Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Manager at XD Connects B.V., you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain activities to enhance operational efficiency, minimize costs, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy aligned with XD Connects' overall goals and values. Continuously evaluate and enhance the supply chain processes to optimize customer satisfaction, improve reliability, reduce lead times, efficiency, and increase profitability.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate SLAs, and monitor their performance. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services while adhering to XD Connects' quality standards and sustainability practices.
  • Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control mechanisms to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce holding costs. Utilize data analytics and forecasting tools to plan and optimize inventory replenishment.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Oversee and balance costs and benefits throughout the complete supply chain from suppliers, inbound transportation, warehousing, printing operations, and outbound distribution activities to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery of products. Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline processes, optimize transportation routes, and monitor service levels.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain, focusing on customer satisfaction improvements, process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities. Implement best practices, automation, and innovative technologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in the availability of raw materials, transportation delays, or regulatory compliance issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and minimize the impact of potential disruptions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives. Foster effective communication and coordination to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials across departments.
  • ESG and Social Responsibility: Integrate low-impact practices and ethical considerations into the supply chain, such as responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and carbon footprint reduction. Work closely with suppliers to promote low-impact initiatives and ensure compliance with XD Connects' environmental and social responsibility standards.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a trading company that imports from Asia and experience in container shipping
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and industry trends
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and analytics tools
  • Proactive hands-on attitude to explore the 'un-known' supply chain opportunities for the business
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of low-impact practices and commitment to social responsibility
