Job Summary


We are looking for a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Sims Lifecycle Services. As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for organizing and planning the incoming and outgoing flow of goods, controlling the goods flow, and taking care of all administrative activities including packing slips, waybills, and pallet labels. You will also ensure the correct registration of matters in the system used and comply with laws, regulations, and company regulations in the field of quality, safety, and the environment.



Key Responsibilities



  • Organize and plan the incoming and outgoing flow of goods
  • Control the goods flow and ensure accurate registration in the system used
  • Take care of all administrative activities including packing slips, waybills, and pallet labels
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company regulations in the field of quality, safety, and the environment
  • Regularly contact with customers, suppliers, and carriers about deliveries and changes


Requirements



  • Several years of experience in a similar business, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • mbo4+ working and thinking level
  • Stress resistant, takes initiative, and customer orientated
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, English is a must
  • Ability to work within a very fast-paced office environment and cope with change and pressurised circumstances
  • Team player with the ability to work on own initiative


What We Offer



  • Salary of €36,288 - €41,472 gross a year, including 8% holiday allowance
  • 26 PTO days a year, based on working full-time
