We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Research Assistant Professor/Post-doctoral Fellow in the Faculty of Dentistry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistics, mathematical modelling, and data science, with a proven track record of research and publications in high-quality international journals.
The appointee will conduct high-impact research related to Cariology, analyzing existing secondary data and project data to evaluate the outcomes of various interventions in establishing a multi-component service delivery model to prevent tooth decay in young children. They will also collaborate closely with international and community experts in this area.
The successful candidate will have excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, be familiar with statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, Stata) and MS Office applications, and have excellent communication skills. Experience in stakeholder management and leadership roles in the research team will be an advantage.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. For Research Assistant Professor, the appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
