Position Overview:

As a Customs Declarant at DSV, you will be an integral part of our operations in Moerdijk. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset and a systematic approach to customs processes. Your knowledge of customs regulations will be essential in our fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary function will be to assist our internal teams with customs-related inquiries. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customs documentation and certificates for both import and export shipments are accurate and submitted on time, with a strong emphasis on compliance. Your daily tasks will involve:

  • Conducting thorough pre- and post-clearance reviews of customs documents;
  • Performing quality and compliance evaluations;
  • Providing proactive advice to colleagues regarding customs procedures;
  • Collaborating with customers, internal teams, and customs officials.

Team Environment:

Candidate Profile:

  • A Diploma in Declarant (EVO/Fenex);
  • Relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
