As a Functional Test Engineer within the System Integration team at DAF Trucks, you will play a crucial role in the preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting of functional engine test activities across various engine development projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with specialists within project teams, providing expert opinions, and helping in risk identification and reduction.
Main Responsibilities:- Prepare, execute, and analyze functional tests or investigations on engine sub-systems / components and their controls.
- Coordinate test set-up and test execution.
- Evaluate and report test results.
- Maintain existing Engine Test Standards under your responsibility.
- Develop new test procedures for engine components and engine systems and their controls.
- Contribute to improving test efficiency and test quality.
- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines and aftertreatment, and sub-systems like fuel system, lubrication system.
- Knowledge of modern engine controls, sensors, actuators, and electronics.
- Experience in measurement techniques for temperature, pressure, flow, and data analysis.
- Ability to work in a complex project-oriented environment.
Yacht offers a contract through Yacht of at least 1 year, following the salary chart of DAF Trucks. The salary range depends on the highest earned degree and years of experience, with a range between €4,200,- and €6,200,- gross per month based on 36 hours a week, excluding holiday allowance.
Additionally, Yacht provides benefits such as a home office budget of €750,- and an annually budget of €3,500,- for following courses to further develop in your career.
