Technical Project Manager for Damen's Digital Solutions

We are looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our digital solutions team, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning, preparation, and execution of our Triton system installations on board vessels.

About the Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with our engineering department, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that all necessary information is accessible and that resources and components are available for system installation. Your excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for complex data systems, and collaboration with sales colleagues will help unlock new opportunities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and execute projects from acceptance to delivery.
  • Develop, monitor, and update project plans in consultation with new build project managers and contractors.
  • Optimize scope and deliverables to utilize budgets efficiently.
  • Provide technical, financial, and process evaluations.
  • Read electrical schematics and understand ship systems.
  • Engage proactively with suppliers and customers.
  • Manage project planning with a focus on dynamic scope and deliverables.
  • Detect and draft variations to contracts as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Engineering or Automation.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing technical projects.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent command of English.
  • Availability for a full-time role (40 hours per week).
