About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Core Integration Specialist to join our team at Schiphol Group. As a key member of our IT & Data department, you will play a crucial role in creating the airport of the future by leveraging smart digital solutions, tools, and applications.

As a Senior Core Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our integration platforms, which are critical for airport functionality. You will also troubleshoot and optimize integration processes to boost efficiency and performance in airport technology.

We are looking for a talented Java developer with a strong background in Java, Quarkus, Camel, and container technology such as OpenShift, Docker, or AKS. You should have hands-on experience with messaging (AMQ, Kafka, JMS, and AMQP) and CI/CD (Maven, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD). Enterprise Integration Patterns (Hohpe & Woolf) knowledge is also a plus.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from ensuring the smooth operation of our airport systems to developing new integration solutions that drive efficiency. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about innovation, safety, and cooperation.

We offer a competitive salary of € 4401 to € 6128 gross per month (Schaal 11), a 13th month (year-end bonus), participation in the ABP pension fund, and the possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
