At Wacker Chemie AG, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Systems Coordinator to join our team in Amsterdam. As an integral part of our global organization, this role will play a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted availability of our IT infrastructure.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented IT professional with a strong background in Windows IT Network Systems and expertise in IT- and OT security. The ideal candidate will have a proactive and hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

  • Ensure the uninterrupted availability of our IT infrastructure, including day-to-day monitoring and managing of IT Network Systems and Services.
  • Coordinate activities with Managed Service IT Partners, Wacker Global IT Teams, and ensure compliance with GMP requirements and Wacker Corporate guidelines for IT- and OT-security.
  • Develop and support IT solutions that meet business needs while adhering to both Wacker Global and local IT- and OT-Governance standards.
  • Contribute to Digitalization and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, working closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and client departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an IT environment with technical and project skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Windows IT Network Systems and IT- and OT security.
  • Strong understanding of SAP 4.0 is highly appreciated.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
