At TomTom, we're revolutionizing the way the world moves with our cutting-edge technology. As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Automated Test Frameworks: Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks to ensure the quality of our software products.
- Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development teams to design effective test strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Champion Best Practices: Promote best practices in testing, testability, and maintainability of test suites.
- Contribute to QA Process Improvement: Continuously improve the QA process to ensure it's efficient and effective.
- Mentor Junior Team Members: Guide and mentor junior QA team members to foster a culture of quality and excellence.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Automation Software Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Kotlin: Around 4 years of proficiency in Kotlin.
- Test Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Espresso or similar.
- Testing Methodologies: In-depth understanding of testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.
- Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing.
- CICD Systems: Familiarity with CICD systems (GitHub Actions).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
