About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Host Intern at City Hotel Hengelo. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of breakfast, as well as providing support in the bar during the evenings.
- Help guests check in and out, providing them with information and assistance as needed.
- Take initiative to upsell and promote our hotel's services and amenities to guests.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure that all guests receive a high level of service and that the hotel runs smoothly.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues alike.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
