Job Description

As a Planning Engineer at Boskalis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage project schedules, using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6. You will work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to identify and prioritize tasks.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and reporting any deviations from the schedule baseline.
  • Provide schedule-related deliverables, including concise schedule narratives and other supporting documents.
  • Maintain a log of changes and assumptions made to the schedule, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Education in engineering (e.g., civil engineering or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience as a planner on a dredging and/or inland infra project is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Oracle Primavera or MS Project is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Dutch.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a flexible attitude, with the ability to handle last-minute information and adjustments.
