About the RoleThe Senior Production Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing the construction process of building a ship or a part of the ship (module). The ideal candidate will be available for significant business travel and/or working abroad for a long duration.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute and coordinate all production activities of a shipbuilding project, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality targets.
- Develop and implement the building strategy, sequence, and approach for the execution phase of a shipbuilding project, providing measures and alternative solutions when necessary.
- Manage a team of supervisors, ensuring they possess the required qualifications and capacity to deliver high-quality results.
- Oversee the actual construction, delegating work activities, coordinating supervisors and subcontractors, and controlling activities through registration, analysis, verification, evaluation, and corrective measures.
To excel as the Senior Production Operations Manager, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience leading a production team over a complex shipbuilding project.
- Solid experience working on the production of complex naval shipbuilding or offshore solutions.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, or another technical study.
- Good command of the English language (written & verbal), with Dutch language skills being a plus.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU work visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €75,000 per annum, including a travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre. Our benefits package includes:
- 27 holidays and 13 ADV days.
- A PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%.
- Profit sharing based on company results.
- Working from home policy and other benefits including a bicycle plan and company fitness.
