IT Audit Manager - Shaping the Future, Today

Position Overview - Objective:

The Internal Audit function operates independently, reporting directly to the Chairman of the JT International Group Holding Board. We create value through our audit processes and advisory roles, collaborating with both business and IT sectors to enhance JTI's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning:

• Collaborate in formulating Internal Audit plans; establishing clear scopes and objectives to ensure impactful assignments.

• Conduct comprehensive research to gather essential background information for the areas under review.

• Identify key risks and challenges, developing an effective audit strategy to address these factors.

Audit Execution:

• Carry out Internal Audit assignments, either fully or partially, under the supervision of the Internal Audit Team Manager and/or Director, ensuring that the scope and objectives are met.

• Utilize data analysis and interpretation, grounding each audit in factual evidence while applying your insights.

• Facilitate meetings and discussions with auditees, promoting a culture of collaboration and transparency.

• Conduct thorough testing of controls, particularly focusing on technology controls, to ensure operational integrity.

• Identify and discuss preliminary findings and recommendations with auditees, ensuring all perspectives are acknowledged.

• Compile sections of the audit report, ensuring precision and clarity, and engage in constructive dialogue to incorporate feedback from the Internal Audit Team Manager and/or Director.

Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute to the advancement of the Internal Audit Department by identifying opportunities and proposing enhancements to audit processes and programs.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in IT auditing, adapting to JTI's evolving technological landscape.

• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Internal Audit function, establishing it as a model of operational excellence.

In this role, your expertise, diligence, and collaborative approach will not only be acknowledged but will play a crucial role in advancing the Internal Audit Department, aligning it with JTI's operational and strategic goals.

Candidate Profile - Qualifications:

• A relevant university degree in IT, Information Systems, Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics, along with professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISM, or CRISC. Technical qualifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSD, SAP Hana) will be advantageous.

• At least 8 years of experience in operational IT, external audit, or internal audit, with a focus on innovation and excellence. This experience should include a minimum of 4 years in a managerial capacity (line management and/or large team projects).

• Comprehensive understanding of key technologies, including enterprise platforms like Microsoft and SAP Hana, Azure, SQL Databases, Service Now, operating systems such as Linux, database management, and cloud services, complemented by skills in data analysis tools like SQL and Power BI.

• Ability to connect IT processes with business implications. Strong grasp of accounting principles, IT audit methodologies, risk management, and IT processes.

• Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, demonstrating adaptability and effectiveness in managing projects from inception to completion.

• Proficient in written and spoken English, with additional language skills being a valuable asset.

• A proactive mindset with strong analytical, inquisitive, and critical thinking abilities.
