About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Host Internship Opportunity. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring all guests have a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Offer recommendations and information on local attractions, restaurants, and activities, enhancing the guest's experience and promoting our hotel's services.
  • Work collaboratively with the breakfast team to ensure the smooth operation of the breakfast service, including setting up and clearing tables.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic knowledge of the hotel industry and customer service principles.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, with a good command of English preferred.
  • Availability to commit to a 5-6 month internship, with the possibility of extension.
