The Role

We're seeking an experienced Global Data Architect to join our Master Data Management (MDM) Center of Excellence. This team will focus on driving efficiency and growth across the organization by developing a well-structured data management strategy. As our data volume increases, we need an expert to lead our data management maturity.

Responsibilities
  1. Support MDM CoE activities for assigned Data Domains across MDM Foundation, Projects, and Analytics.
  2. Drive standardized processes and tools to enhance delivery quality, optimize costs, ensure compliance, and improve customer experience.
  3. Assist GPOs in building data, reporting, and analytics roadmaps.
  4. Communicate and implement the MDM vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  5. Implement controls for MDM operations, including downstream system impacts.
  6. Develop a data dictionary with naming conventions and governance.
  7. Lead data quality efforts, including setting standards, data cleansing, and monitoring.
  8. Develop KPIs to monitor compliance in the Global MDM Dashboard.
  9. Act as the Single Point of Contact for data domains, organize governance, and manage issue escalation.
  10. Serve as a change agent for MDM, driving commitment and awareness.
  11. Align master data standards across systems, focusing on innovation and reducing costs.
  12. Foster teamwork across organizational boundaries and manage multiple complex assignments.
  13. Ensure strong customer service and support while managing dynamic priorities.
  14. Adapt to cultural differences with an international mindset.
Requirements
  1. Post-graduate in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT, or equivalent experience.
  2. 10+ years overall experience, with 7-8 years in process-related functions and data support.
  3. SAP knowledge and strong IT/system configuration knowledge and implementation experience.
  4. Experience in project/program management, with certification preferred.
  5. Skilled in implementing standardized E2E business processes.
  6. Experience working with operational customers, including senior management.
  7. Proficient in process and data improvement, using root cause analysis.
  8. Experience in complex IT and business environments.
  9. Knowledge of external regulatory and industry best practices.
  10. Designs data models using best practices and business insights.
  11. Recognized as a credible partner across teams and functions.
  12. Consistently meets deadlines with high-quality work.
  13. Strong communicator and change agent, fostering dialogue across stakeholders.
  14. Available for moderate travel.
