The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our shipbuilding projects. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and mitigating quality issues, and in developing and implementing effective quality management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate quality processes and foster a quality mindset in each shipbuilding project.
  • Ensure quality management principles, protocols, and processes are correctly applied.
  • Lead the Project Quality team.
  • Create and maintain the QA registration system processes.
  • Participate in project and department progress meetings.
  • Update project management on quality assurance status and incident mitigations.
  • Liaise with the Government Quality Assurance Representative (GQAR) and provide all QA information.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in the naval, defense, or shipbuilding industry.
  • Experience with manufacturing techniques and processes, preferably in the naval shipbuilding industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Business Administration, Maritime Technology, or Shipbuilding.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent references and a clean security record.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport.
