Job Overview

This role plays a crucial part in managing and optimising our personnel costs, totalling over €150 million. You will ensure these costs comply with local laws and regulations while contributing to the organisation's growth.

Responsibilities
  • Salary Budgeting: Prepare salary budgets and manage the payroll budgeting cycle.
  • Payroll Analysis: Maintain accurate monthly payroll provisions and analyse payroll costs and balances.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement optimisations, continuously monitoring KPIs.
  • Cost Optimisation: Drive cost optimisation within the payroll process.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports for CSRD and contribute to annual reporting.
  • Salary Insights: Provide insights into relevant salary cost developments and present these insights to key stakeholders, including the Executive Board and management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with (local) laws and regulations in collaboration with HR and stakeholders.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare documentation for external and internal audits, including tax reviews.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Around 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Payroll Expertise: Experience with payroll in multiple EMEA countries.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent command of the English language (Dutch is a plus).
Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum
