We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Shop Floor Scheduler. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our production plans.
Job Summary
The Shop Floor Scheduler will be responsible for managing all planning activities within a production area. This includes:
- Creating and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Allocating resources such as labor, machinery, and materials to meet production requirements.
- Collaborating with various departments, including production, logistics, and procurement, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitoring the progress of production orders and adjusting schedules as needed to meet changing requirements or solve problems.
- Managing inventory levels to avoid over- or shortages while minimizing inventory costs.
- Identifying and addressing production bottlenecks, delays, and other issues that may affect production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field.
- Experience with day-to-day planning within an operations environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
