Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam.

Project Overview

The department responsible for IT Systems observability signals within our client is seeking a talented Golang Engineer to work on a global platform. This platform provides standardized collection and processing of metric, log, and trace data in OpenTelemetry format for a large number of consumers across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable Golang applications for the platform.
  • Work with the DevOps squad to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of the platform.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate, enrich, and transform capabilities involving machine learning models like anomaly detection and timeseries forecasting.
  • Ensure secure and clean coding practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues on the platform.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Golang.
  • Experience with Grafana LGTM stack.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a Site Reliability Engineering context.
  • Affinity with availability monitoring.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines.
  • Experience with Cassandra.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Openshift.
  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD).
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
