Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mane Contract Services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data centre, pharmaceutical or semi-conductor projects and hold either an EU passport or residency in the Netherlands.

  • A comprehensive package includes accommodation, flights, rotation (17/4), travel, and expat allowance.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Review and validate tenders upon project award in collaboration with the Project Manager/Director.
  2. Analyze tender details and project requirements to support preparation of the project cost control system (CCS).
  3. Evaluate timing of billings and costs to develop project cash flow forecasts.
  4. Produce monthly reports according to organizational standard procedures.
  5. Conduct site measurements with Construction and Planning Teams to ensure compliance with contractual procedures.
  6. Ensure timely submission of claims and notices as required under contract terms.
  7. Highlight areas of concern related to project costs, revenue, and profit contributions.
  8. Attend commercial and subcontractor meetings to provide updates and insights.
  9. Prepare and manage pre- and post-contract correspondence in consultation with the Project Manager/Director.
  10. Identify whether material purchases align with the project scope or constitute variations to the budget.
  11. Manage client invoicing processes, including submission and payment tracking.
  12. Oversee payments to subcontractors and suppliers by reviewing submissions against contractual agreements.
  13. Collaborate closely with the Finance Department on project financials and reporting.
  14. Resolve disputes with clients and subcontractors to maintain smooth project progress.
  15. Prepare detailed reports on commercial and contractual matters for the Project and Commercial Managers.
  16. Monitor procurement activities by reviewing regular reports from the site.
