Pride Company: Data Management & Governance Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Data Management & Governance Consultant to join our team at Pride Company. As a key member of our organization, you will provide expert advice on data organization and governance to large public organizations, ensuring that data is used effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data strategies and governance frameworks for clients;
  • Collaborate with clients' Chief Data Officers and data stewards to design and implement data governance structures;
  • Provide administrative-level guidance on data strategy and assist in developing policies, frameworks, and processes for data sharing and usage;
  • Assist clients in devising, implementing, and designing the best data solution for their strategic issues;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and frameworks, such as DAMA-DMBOK, and translate them into practical solutions.
Requirements:
  • HBO or WO degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Sciences, or Management and Business Analytics;
  • Several years of experience as a (Policy) Advisor or Consultant in the field of data or in roles as Data Steward, Data Manager, or Data Specialist;
  • Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK and their translation to practice;
  • Additional certifications, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), are a plus;
  • Passion and drive to develop yourself in the field of data strategy, management, organization, and governance;
  • Skilled communicator with a keen sense of political-administrative situations;
  • Solution-oriented, analytical person who knows how to make connections and see through complex problems quickly;
  • Ability to communicate at different levels, enthuse stakeholders, and act as a quartermaster;
  • Interest in the relationship between data and technology (architecture, data platforms) and firsthand knowledge of what works and what doesn't when it comes to setting up data governance.
