About the Role
Olympia is a leading third-generation family business with over 80 years of experience in the metal recycling industry.
As a Material Sorter within our dynamic organization, you will be responsible for sorting various materials accurately, operating machinery, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting Materials: You will be tasked with distinguishing between different types of materials based on their properties and destinations. This critical task helps in reducing waste and increasing recycling processes, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.
- General Cleaning Duties: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work environment to ensure a safe workplace and operational efficiency.
- Operating Machinery: You will operate machinery such as a Bobcat, requiring careful handling to maneuver materials safely around the facility.
- Performing Minor Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform minor repairs on machines to ensure they are at peak operational performance.
Requirements
- Physically capable of performing tasks.
- Flexible and willing to take on various duties.
- Reliable and punctual.
- A technical background is a significant plus, but not mandatory.
What We Offer
- A gross hourly wage between €13-15, depending on experience.
- Pension contributions start from your first day of work.
- You'll accrue holiday pay and are entitled to 25 vacation days per year.
